Certification – Ed Techs

For all renewals, the procedure is as follows:

Ed techs need to have either 3 college credits or 45 professional development/contact hours (like workshops, online CEU’s that are not through a college are considered contact hours).
Please send proof of college credits or contact hours to Tracey Foster for approval. Once verified, you will be notified by central office to proceed with your MDOE educational technician renewal. (Please wait for verification from central office before proceeding with online renewal.)
Log into your MEIS account - Single Sign On - Sign In to SSO (mymainecertification.com) OR create an online MEIS account and follow the step by step instructions.
Follow steps for submitting renewal and pay the $25 fee.
