Job Description

 

JOB CLASSIFICATION: Food Service Worker

LOCATION: Margaret Chase Smith Community School  HOUR: 6 hours per day

 Monday – Friday

 30 hours per week 

 School Year 

Position Starts August 2025

Requirements

 

 Skill Requirements

1. Minimum High School Diploma or HiSET

2. Documented knowledge of program requirements & records

3. Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team setting

4. Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks and reports in a timely  manner

5. Evidence of excellent written and oral communication skills

6. Demonstrated ability to follow recipes

7. Documented knowledge of:

Quantity food production

Storage and handling techniques

Sanitation techniques

Chemical handling, SDS sheets

Interpreting, following and adapting recipes

Inventory control

Interpreting and maintaining HACCP compliance

Power Lunch for Point of Service and Reporting

8. Documented knowledge sanitation as designated by management
