JOB CLASSIFICATION: Food Service Worker
LOCATION: Margaret Chase Smith Community School HOUR: 6 hours per day
Monday – Friday
30 hours per week
School Year

Skill Requirements
1. Minimum High School Diploma or HiSET
2. Documented knowledge of program requirements & records
3. Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team setting
4. Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks and reports in a timely manner
5. Evidence of excellent written and oral communication skills
6. Demonstrated ability to follow recipes
7. Documented knowledge of:
❖ Quantity food production
❖ Storage and handling techniques
❖ Sanitation techniques
❖ Chemical handling, SDS sheets
❖ Interpreting, following and adapting recipes
❖ Inventory control
❖ Interpreting and maintaining HACCP compliance
❖ Power Lunch for Point of Service and Reporting
8. Documented knowledge sanitation as designated by management
